" Slick Special " a Tether Car by Beast !
Here's a neat little racer ! Looking fast just sitting still the " Slick Special " is powered by
a brand new Cox .049 of the Shure Star variety, any of the "hopped " up Cox .049's out
there that use this crank case is a simple swap if you want more power.
The body is milled from 6061T-6 aluminum and the axles are made of drill rod. Both
front wheels have two bearings each and the rear axle rides in it's own bearings. Gears are
from HPI Racing and are 2:1 ratio with the axle gear pinned to the axle. The pinion gear
is a press fit onto the custom flywheel which is a press fit onto the crank shaft . Custom
fuel tank holds about a third of an ounce for a decent run time. The body has been given
a nice polish while the interior has been bead blasted.
