Curly Grover got the bug and started to develop his own cars called Curly’s

This car is a Curly mite…named after Curly Glover of C&R tire fame and also the builder of the wildly successful Curly cars.

Curly Glover never built any Curly mites himself. He produced the patterns, but never made any cars. But, in the early 90s, Mike Burgess (from southern CA) obtained the patterns for the car from Glover. Burgess cast a number of bodies off the original patterns and built most of the cars himself, although a few cars were sold as “casting kits”.
